If you do not have an account

You can play everything without signing up. We keep a record that a game was started and how long the run lasted, which is what produces the play counts on each game. If you put a score on a board as a guest, the name you typed and the score are stored — nothing else, and nothing that identifies you.

If you do

An account stores your handle, a hashed password, and whatever you choose to put on your profile: a summary, an avatar you built, a featured achievement, a pinned game. Playing adds your scores, time played, achievements and saved progress. Reviews you write are public and attached to your handle.

Email is optional and only used to identify the account. We do not send marketing.

Age

Children are welcome to play here. Signing up asks for a date of birth; we keep only the age range it produces and discard the date itself. Under 13 we cannot create an account without a parent’s permission, because an account stores a handle — but playing, and putting a score on a board, need no account and collect nothing that identifies anyone.

If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, get in touch and we will delete it.

Advertising

Advertising is chosen by the page it sits on, never by anything about you. We do not build advertising profiles, do not track you across other sites, and do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

If we do not know your age, you get the same treatment as a child: contextual only, with no third-party advertising code allowed to run at all. That is enforced by the browser through a content security policy, not just by our own good intentions.

Deleting everything

There is a delete button on your profile settings. It removes the account and everything attached to it — scores, play history, reviews, achievements and saves — immediately and for good. There is no recovery, and no soft-deleted copy kept behind the scenes.
